I think that's really been helpful for me , and that's kind of eased my transition and made me a better baseball player on the field as well . Uh , academics in baseball , uh , finding a way to balance them is , is tricky at times . Um , you know , obviously , Northwestern is , is a very good school and academically rigorous school .

Some , uh , some really important things that I focus on in my , my training regimen would just be , um , consistency being a big one . I think , especially the sport that I play baseball , like , it's a long season and it's an even longer offseason . And , uh , you know , you gotta have good routines .
I would say , to run your race , um , and I've seen it in A ton of different ways , um , you know , people making it in different ways . And , um , I've seen the whole process of , you know , you're a star at 12U and , you know , you taper off in high school and the kids that aren't a star at 12U and become the best college baseball player . So , I've seen every way , and I can tell you there is no one way .
They didn't either put themselves out there , or , you know , it just , there's something else that it didn't happen . So , I was really fortunate , um , to work with a , a great travel ball program that had a lot of connections to , you know , colleges and universities across the country . Um , so , you know , when I was at the , the point where I started , uh , You know , being at the right age to get recruited , they were really helpful for me in getting my name out there , making sure I was taking the right steps , um , to , you know , play in college one day .
