So this happened for years and years . And so the suicidal ideation that I was experiencing in my young childhood , in my adolescence in my young adulthood , even as I applied a lot of the principles , I still continued to experience that suicidal ideation . And I had continued to experience the depression to a large extent , uh , for years .

I just felt real like joy and limitless love and I could not explain it right . So I decided at that moment , I was gonna postpone suicide for like an hour , which was like a really long time to me then because I was deeply , deeply depressed and unhappy . And I spent that hour researching ways um to kind of solve for this happiness thing for this depression thing .

And this man has done a lot of work in understanding how our brains work , how we uh how we think , how we sabotage ourselves a lot of times . Um And he's had to really work through this himself because of his own struggles and issues with depression and suicidal thoughts and all of these things .
