How's it going ? So every Saturday night from six pm to 9 p.m. we start and end right over here at Pershing Square and it's a three hour jaunt to talk about all the true crime , ghost stories , scandalous , Los Angeles , history of the downtown area , everything from the Black Dahlia to lesser known stories like Von Greenwood , the skid row slasher . So we're over here at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel .
This is the first place that we want to visit because this is the last place that the Black Dahlia was seen the most famous murder victim in American history . One of the most infamous stories in all of true crime history and it is incredibly intense . Do you hear things happening in there ?
Spooky to be sure she's acting strangely and no one knows if she was possessed or if it was just a mental breakdown , unfortunately , but that has gone on to become the defining story for the notorious Hotel Cecil and you can see to the water tanks on the roof just over there . I love having locals on tours and the true crime tours really do get locals because L A is seen as a place where people don't think it has history , especially from the locals . So just having a local come and take a tour and go Oh my God .
We are spirited around here . But did you know our city of Angels is actually known for having some real life supernatural sightings from Marilyn Monroe's rumored ghost at the Hollywood Roosevelt to ghost of deceased guests at the Cecil Hotel . Well , you know , I love this stuff , right .
