Make sure to send your schedule, invite coaches to come watch you play, and keep them in the loop about your accomplishments. Love more than just what the sport and school have to offer, and focus on your speed and agility off the field. Coaches are not just looking for individual players who can beat everyone on their own; they value teamwork and passing abilities. Work on your footwork, agility, and speed of foot pace matching with your ball speed. Access to facilities and equipment is a challenge in our sport, but we're trying to progress in those areas for equal opportunities for everyone. Look for opportunities to play in clubs, leagues, and tournaments, as these are often where recruitment happens. One of the biggest things that stand out to coaches and scouts would be the ability to pass the ball and distribute . And really , that's not realistic in college when you get there .
