So, I think just coming to a a college and figuring out uh the people you want to be around um how you want to grow is just a little setback you have to face . My recruitment process was pretty hectic . I started out um committing to the University of Oklahoma and then there was a coaching change .
So I I committed my junior year of high school and then my senior year there was a coaching change of high school and I decided to kind of look at other schools . Went on a couple visits and then uh found Madison, Wisconsin and decided to come here for somebody uh in high school looking at the recruitment process and kind of going through that . Uh one thing I would suggest is just in a way you kind of have to go with your gut .
You have to uh take into those factors and and make sure you're always doing the right thing and it kind of makes it more important and keeps you accountable . As NIL keeps growing there there's more and more opportunities . I mean, I feel like the the easy example is kind of football .
I mean, I feel like the the easy example is kind of football . You see a lot of money and and opportunities for for really good players to kind of go around . I know you see gymnasts and all sorts of NIL deals coming along, which is uh really cool um that it's growing and that athletes are getting paid .
Some of the challenges I've faced uh just getting into the college room and kind of I feel like when you go to college, you have a little bit of a setback, especially your your first year um into college just cuz you're uh you have to come to a new place and and kind of figure out stuff on your own .
