Bunny Foundation is a rescue . It's a nonprofit foundation , um , that basically rescues bunnies from different situations . We are , um , partners with L A Animal Services , Siaca Pasadena Humane Society and plenty of others .
We are , um , partners with L A Animal Services , Siaca Pasadena Humane Society and plenty of others . And we pull approximately 1500 bunnies a year and we rescue 1 to 4 bunnies a day . Now we are with these adorable little babies .
I mean , there's a whole list of , even though we worked really hard on um bringing a lot of legislation to Los Angeles that improved the lives of the rabbits such as closing , you know , the rabbit sales and the pet stores , uh backyard breeders have um increased their operation . Instagram has helped a lot of those breeders and people are buying these little baby bunnies uh because they're cute um or just for Instagram shots and then three months later when they realize what they , what they cost and what they need , all of a sudden shelters are inundated with these beautiful baby lops , baby lion heads , all kinds of Netherland dwarfs . And it's really sad .
