These resources can include career development programs, internships, and opportunities for personal and professional skill-building. Additionally, athletes can receive support with their physical well-being through nutrition counseling and strength and conditioning programs. I think NIL is a really cool thing and it's growing the sports growing all the way around and it's like ultimately getting people the exposure to new deals to um being able to talk more um learning personal skills and like skills that we can use in like everyday life with like getting future jobs and it's something that I think is developing in a great way to allow athletes the way like a lot of people are going through like internships like sometimes being athlete it's hard to get those internships because you have all these things going on outside your plates . But NIL gets is a way like that is more accessible to athletes and is it allows all of us to be able to explore those type of like work environments that sometimes we wouldn't be able to do with like all the rigorous of our sports and like how much we have to do like the practices we have to attend and sometimes that can be a lot with like trying to figure out like life after the sport . But I think NIL is also helping us figure out life when life uh after the sport as a easy way and accessible and is incorporated with what we are doing .

But I think NIL is also helping us figure out life when life uh after the sport as a easy way and accessible and is incorporated with what we are doing . Something I'd say to younger athletes is just all don't let anyone like dull your shine . Don't let anyone say that you can't do something like don't let anyone dictate what you can do in life or what you will do in life .

either that being like acai bowl or like a granola bar like goldfish . Just making sure I'm putting everything into my body to be the most successful that I can off on the court . Being the captain of like the USA team, it's not something that like you're like I was like going for gunning for like or even in the goals .

Like I also felt like a sense of like gratitude to like be in this position to like even have colleges reaching out to me cuz I know like this isn't the life for every single athlete that plays this sport . it's only like a handful of athletes that actually get to do it at like any type of level and ultimately even try and get to like the highest level that we're at that I'm at today . And it's also like you take a step back and you look at and it's like wow like it's amazing to be in this position .

they know how to like break it down in the ways that we can see it and we can see like oh she's hitting this shot look over and over and over it's that shot or they have this tendency like when it's in the red zone like they do this like the servers have a tendency of being really good here but might struggle to get all the way to the corner there and like seeing that like is really cool because a lot of times we think that progress is made only on the court or you have to be in the gym but like if you look around like there's so many other ways to like get better and Like college has really opened my eyes cuz it's when you really take the deep dive and like you take multiple days and like learning your opponents and you can even like on the on the side like you're looking at yourself too like things you can get better at, things you can grow at and just like looking specifically into like the skills to like really get better into the overall like college level of like everything which is really cool to see like how much something off the court can really impact your game .
