Uh , my love for other people , my love for the game , and just , yeah , and then being a good sport as well , I think is another privilege that comes along with the pressure of being a college athlete , uh , just being a good sport , respecting the other athletes across the net from you , and just being awesome to your teammates and just having an awesome time competing on the floor . My experience with NIL is , um , I'm only a sophomore , so my experience with NIL is continuing to grow , especially being in the Big 10 , which has Um , a lot more opportunities for , uh , just NIL partnerships with people . I've seen a lot of cool stuff with my teammates , um , whether that's , uh , promoting public safety or , um , supporting a brand that they like or some food , I think it's really fun to see how NIL can emerge into a lot of different spaces .
So , Just a lot of different avenues that I've seen it , and I didn't know that's how it was going to take shape . And I think it's also an exciting opportunity for athletes , uh , because as I've talked with my mom , who was a college athlete , and NIL was not a thing , just understanding how beneficial it can be for us and to , uh , bolstering our careers into the future . High school athletes should really focus on understanding who they are , the player they want to be , where they want to , like , you have to start thinking about .
