So in the recruitment process , I think just finding schools that kind of speak to who you are and understanding , like , outside of volleyball , if you could find space to be yourself in those places , I think is super crucial in recruiting . I think also , like , Standing out to recruits , being a great teammate first has been something so crucial .
High school athletes should really focus on understanding who they are , the player they want to be , where they want to , like , you have to start thinking about . Uh , where you see yourself in the next 4 years , I'd say pretty early on , um , especially just getting your name out there , and whether that's through emails , based off the rules of what's established for recruiting , um , and just not being afraid to , um , demonstrate to coaches and people around you just what you have . So , uh , a sense of fearlessness , I think is really crucial , especially getting recruited into the craziness that is college sports .

So I started my my collegiate career somewhere else , but was thankfully able to , uh , get this opportunity at Northwestern . So some of my challenges have been , uh , being undersized for my position , and also , uh , Not , or getting recruited during COVID was tough too , and then also just uh transferring in itself can be very difficult and daunting , and I didn't know uh what the next chapter was gonna look like . Uh So that's part of my story .
