Uh , now I've been here for about 5-6 months at Creighton , just the games starting to slow down for me a lot more and then on defense I've been able to learn , um , how , how we're supposed to do it and you know when to be in the gaps and also personnel of other teams . Um , I've also learned that . Um , the film's a really big deal , so going home and studying the film each night , um , we'll prepare you for practicing games the next day .
So if you put . The work in every day , um , the game will reward you . Yeah , I would say it kind of depends on whether you're in the offseason or if you're in like actual season , um , off season you're more you're doing more stuff that strains your body .
Um , I've also learned that . Um , the film's a really big deal , so going home and studying the film each night , um , we'll prepare you for practicing games the next day . Now , now that we've been here for a week , I would say , um , two memorable moments .
I would say always just stay humble and you know trust in God and . Um , usually things work out for you and also , uh , believe in yourself and the work that you put in will always show up on the court , so the game will reward you for putting in the work that you that you do outside of practice .
I respected him and his staff so much and then the culture around the program was um second to none . For young kids going through the recruiting process , they , uh , you can't control makes and misses , but you always control how hard you play and control your communication on the court and helping your teammates so I would say the biggest thing is to play as hard as you can and be a leader out there and then when coaches call you , um , just don't take it for granted and be as respectful as you can to them , ask them questions because they like when . Um , you're interested in their program and they like when you show and just about , um , them personally .
