What we are doing here on stage every night is recreating great works of art , paintings and sculptures with real people . I happen to be Director of Pageant of the Masters for the last 24 years or so . And I love my job and it's year round for me .
So Cal has to offer . It's our job to keep you in the know , welcome to Pageant of the Masters . I'm really glad to have L A unscripted here tonight because we've got some great things to show you .
Not only am I back at Pageant of the Masters , but I'm in one of the pieces . Pageant of the Master started in Laguna Beach back in the depression . The first living pictures were presented in 1933 and we've been doing it here in Laguna ever since .
Back in 1976 I was in a painting by Mary Cassatt called the Tea Party . The theme for the pageant this year is wonderful world . And we're going to take you on a virtual travel log around the world .
There's a wonderful junior art exhibit of children's artwork from pre kindergarten all the way to 12th grade and we have great entertainment . I have been with the Festal Arts and Pageant , the Masters for 25 years and I have enjoyed every single minute of it . This is our set for our recreation of a Durga Puja pandal .
