But like any teenager , uh the Ford also went through its punk phase . So in the 19 eighties , it was actually a space where artists like the Ramones and Jane's addiction performed . And so it became this really kind of amazing ground for that type of music in Los Angeles later became a space that really hosted a lot of local artists and we continue that history now , but it's very much dedicated to creating space for Los Angeles artists to perform and produce it .
