Some of the highlights of my athletic career include winning my indoor race and being named freshman of the year at the conference, then going on to compete outdoors. I also had a memorable moment when I recovered from a tough race at the state meet and came back to excel in a different race, which led to my coach believing in my potential as a hurdler. Additionally, I broke the school record for the 60 hurdles, and I'm focused on continued improvement for both myself and my teammates. Also, it's worth noting that my recruiting process started during COVID, and I was fortunate to compete during indoors, ultimately catching the attention of my head coach at the state meet.

Some future goals that I have for myself would be to help student athletes maintain their health and stay healthy throughout their careers as I've always had someone there for me to make sure that I stayed healthy throughout my career . My personal brand would be health .

Some things that I have picked up on and really focused here at Youngstown are patience , being able to trust the process and just grind when you need to grind and your time will come when you deserve it like when you earn it , it'll always come to you . I balance academics with my athletic schedule with a very colorful calendar . I make sure I have it every day , every hour planned out to the T , and if it doesn't go that way , we're in for a ride that day .

And I made it to the state meet and that's where my head coach had found me . I honestly fumbled at the state meet and my race wasn't the best , but I was able to compete and come back for a different race and do good , and he saw me recover from that and he was like , you know what , you're gonna be a great athlete you're gonna be , you're gonna be our number one hurdler , and he took that chance on me and my freshman year . I came and I made sure I took that personally that he took that chance and I worked my butt off to become like freshman of the year .
