22 of those years , we've been doing business together . One business or the other All oriented around uplifting our community 34 years ago , as local residents in South L A living right here around the corner , we saw that there was rising development happening , gentrification . He came up with this big crazy dream of creating a cafe .
This building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1971 . And it's one of the most spectacular buildings in downtown Los Angeles . Cheers .
