The best advice I've received from my mentors and coaches is to stay patient and not rush things during practice. It has helped me improve and make sure I do every single repetition properly. Additionally, my parents put me in sports to keep me out of trouble and help me balance academics and sports. One crucial piece of advice I received is to always stay focused on the bigger picture and not rush progress, as greatness cannot be rushed.
