So I think it's amazing that the ability of KTL A to amplify KTL A has been um had a special place in my heart for a lot of my career . I worked at a station in Seattle that was owned by the same company and really always looked at KTLA as a source of inspiration for me because of how it was connected to the community because it's more than just covering the news it's really being in the places that people care about . Founders Day .
And every year , nextar news stations across the country live local and give back to the communities they so proudly serve . I think K has this wonderful relationship with the community , not just the TV station , people watching , but KT more than it's ever been , is really out in the community . And I think that's terrific .
And I always try to remember that the viewers feel that they know us and they do know us . And that's the unique thing about KTL A is they encourage us to share stories about ourselves and they encourage us to be in the communities . What makes KTL A special in terms of doing as much as they do with the public or I'll , I'll just take one anecdotal example .
Exactly . And you know , one of the reasons we launched a script , it was to get the entire KTL A family out in the community sharing what we love with all of you . And if you follow me , you know , I love tennis .
So we're breaking down Founder's Day . The KTLA Way KT is owned by Nextar , the largest local television company in the US . And every year employees are given paid time off to volunteer for a local nonprofit .
