I think the further you get away from your country , the more you romanticize it . And so for me being able to grab from this buffet of culture and showcase it to the world has been sort of my life mission . My wife Sandra Cuba , uh Ey winning Sandra Cuba is someone that I've been with since high school .
One Spanish speakers will see it as Mija , which is the colloquial word for my daughter in Spanish . It has a much deeper meaning for us because it's actually the first two initials of our daughter's first and middle name , Mia Jamila . So another pronunciation is Mija .
