So , you know , working hard is always important . When it comes to softball , we really focus in on the weight room and having , you know , quick movements and being really strong and as well as like fast . So we do a lot of running and agilities and things like that .
And then when it comes to practice , you know , we do our hitting , we do our fielding , throwing , all that fun stuff . I feel like one of the biggest challenges playing softball is just , you know , getting through the highs and lows . Obviously , You know , you have your slumps , you have your moments that are not the best , but I just feel like , you know , working through those and understanding that it's just part of the game is um how you overcome them .
That's the biggest difference between college and high school softball that really sets it apart . Balancing softball and academics is a little bit hard , I'm not going to lie , but I feel like it just takes very good time management and , you know , just like understanding that you got to do your schoolwork to play softball . I feel like the upperclassmen on my team have really helped me when it came to like , you know , just Helping me realize that it's just softball , and it's the same sport that I've been playing since , you know , I was 6 .
