He said that talent is nothing without hard work , and , you know , if you have talent , but you don't work hard , others are going to pass you by . So , you know , working hard is always important . When it comes to softball , we really focus in on the weight room and having , you know , quick movements and being really strong and as well as like fast .
I mean , our chemistry is amazing . All the girls care so much about , you know , pushing each other to get better , and it's just an amazing culture to be a part of . When I took my official visit here , I just remember it feeling unreal , like I couldn't even believe that I was walking around Northwestern , you know .
When it comes to talking to coaches , I feel like Just realizing that , you know , coaches are normal people , so you can talk to them like a normal human . Um , I think sometimes , at least I did , I put them on a pedestal , and I feel like just realizing that , you know , they have a family and they're just like me . So I chose Northwestern because of our softball program here .

You know , it's really important to get that college exposure and play the highest level tournaments possible . So that's what I would recommend . I would say the biggest thing recruiting is just getting yourself on a really high level team and playing the best competition and , you know , being at all the biggest tournaments with all the coaches at it .
