I'm a senior and I go to the University of Wisconsin and I am a PG . Some of the best advice that I've been given from the people above me is just . No matter where you are , where you come from , we're all going for the same goal and just give everything you got regardless of who's standing in front of you no name , no team is bigger than who you can be yourself .
On my birthday actually I received a full ride scholarship . My advice to anyone who's a walk on or having trouble getting to where they want to go is just keep your head up , don't let anything stop you , work extra hard , and that makes you even better . I came here working harder than everyone else , and I think that's the reason why I'm here where I am today is not letting anything stop me from my goals and my visions in life .
So they text me on open doors and that's when reality hit like , oh yeah , this is about to happen . My final piece of advice for you guys is just to keep grinding . Don't let anything stop you .
So just having that mindset of whoever's in front of me , um , just a plate and I'm gonna eat off of it . My advice to girls that are undersized is just play basketball , go into a game with your head held high , don't care about your opponent if they're way taller than you , smaller than you . Just play a game and use your size as your advantage .
Like , I growing up , I looked up to a lot of great players , um , and now I'm playing them , and I feel like looking up to people and getting advice from people older than you and always having that ear open to see what you can learn and always wanting and willing to learn is big coming into the , the college level basketball , high school . Level middle school , wherever you start , it's important to listen , learn , and learn to receive and not learn to like feed have feedback on everything and just work hard so like it's really important that I am a role model now and that somebody can come and talk to any day because I feel like that means I listen to the people above me and now I can give back to the people under me . My experience in NIL space has been pretty good , honestly .
