And then I also took a yoga class where we would meditate , um , so those are just some of the things that I practice with my mental health . I feel like my recruitment process is different than a lot of people because COVID was kind of in the middle of it . um , I started playing on a 17U like .
Every single topic that we talked about I think like your social media and you're building your brand can be different look different than anybody else . I feel like my recruiting journey looked different than anybody else's and yours can look different from anybody else's . Um , I think me getting injured my journey was different than .
I mean , I was OK . I didn't have a ton going on , um , and then really my junior year I kinda I kinda exploded on the scene , became a bigger recruit , um , and then ultimately , uh , committed to USC . Yeah , for sure .
I always grew up watching Love and Basketball . That was my favorite movie growing up and I was getting recruited by all these different schools , but I never really thought about USC until they called me and I was like , oh , I would love to go to USC . And so , um .
And she was the first coach to call me and was like , hey , we still want you here . What you have to go through , you have to go through . This was before I knew I had the results back from my MRI and so she was like , we believe in you , we want you here and no matter what the injury is , we still want you and you're more than a basketball player , we want you as a person and so ultimately that felt like home to me .
