One time I had to follow Howie Mandel and he had the room on fire like it was lit and I was , I'm a bit scared but instead of going there trying to outdo him , I just picked off his energy and rode the wave and had a great set . What the Comedy store means to me , what it meant to me in the beginning was the Mecca Comedy where this is where the great , the great these stages during Fat Tuesdays was everything because that was the wind beneath my , you know , Comedy Wings that really helped me ascend into this business . Fat Tuesday started in 1995 right upstairs in the belly room .
