I think there can be a lot of bumps and bruises in the process of growing up and playing sports , wanting to play collegiately and stuff like that , and sometimes things can get thrown out of proportion of like what it is to be a collegiate athlete and And whatnot , but I'm very glad that I could be a model to others and just kind of help guide them through it , remind them that it's not always so serious . There's like basketball or whatever sport you're playing is a small piece of your life if you really think about it , but I'm glad that I have the opportunity to platform that and to make a change in somebody's life growing up . My NIL experience has been pretty well .
Hi , my name is Nikki Kirsten . I am a basketball player at the University of Wisconsin . The best piece of advice that I've been given from my coach is probably to give everything that you have on the floor , I think .

I never got to play with them due to just timing of like travel basketball and high school basketball , but I blessed enough to be able to practice with the team and hopefully be able to play with them in a FIFA tournament or hopefully in the Olympics in the future . Some challenges I faced just growing up in the sport of basketball , I think my biggest one that I faced was self-doubt . There's , um , as an athlete , I think that's really common , especially at a young age , you .
Has been just being more physical as a player . I think that like I said earlier is the biggest transition and you kind of like immediately when you get thrown in there on the court , it kind of like just comes to you naturally , but that was what I picked up on is just the physicality like it's way different than high school and even travel basketball in high school so that for me was like something that I think I was able to pick up on pretty quickly . It means a lot for me to be a role model to younger girls and like my little cousins who grow up playing sports as well .
