And just making sure that we're fueling our body with the right nutrients and the right foods that are going to help us recover the quickest and the most beneficial ways for our health . I had the opportunity to go to Greece and train with the national team . I never got to play with them due to just timing of like travel basketball and high school basketball , but I blessed enough to be able to practice with the team and hopefully be able to play with them in a FIFA tournament or hopefully in the Olympics in the future .
That was a big transition from high school to college and the biggest thing I had to work on in the summer being here , but also just like pace and intensity . I think that is very important when you're training uh to play how you practice or to practice how you play . It is super important so that there's no drop off from practices to games in regards to nutrition and recovering .
That's what I've always been told from a lot of coaches that I've played for , and it's just a reminder that when you're out there on the floor , like you don't want to leave the court thinking that you could have done more , played harder , and you want to leave the game knowing that you did everything that you could have done while you were out there and you're giving it your all . Some of the most important things that I focused on while training would definitely be my strength . I think that was a big transition for me at the collegiate level .
I do take a lot of time in those as well because they're just as beneficial as what you're doing to prepare for a game and recovering for a game . We do a lot of like cold tub and hot tub like contrast stuff , a lot of treatment with our athletic trainer .
