It's , you know , at the center of the city , at this iconic crosswalk with the rainbow crosswalks . And this building itself was one of the first LGBT Q plus clubs and was key in actually defining and fighting for West Hollywood to become its own city to create a more safe space for queer people . That's kind of literally where we are at the corner with our other venue , Roccos is directly across the Rainbow crosswalk .
And if you're looking for a we have hot spot to celebrate all the rainbow and your heart to heart . Heart Weho is the heart of Weho . Literally , uh that's why we picked the name .
Even just the name it went from being Rage , which was very representative to a certain extent of what the queer community was going through then to heart , which is kind of where we're finding ourselves in more modern times . Last year , we ran into our babysitter . I'm actually one of the co chairs for the LGBT Qi A services committee . Our task is sort of like to bring books and collections to the public but also do training for staff on gender diversity and inclusion .
